Go on holiday to Sorrento (08) and I wondered what someone knows that a simple and relatively inexpensive for a day trip from Sorrento to Rome?

There is a road map here: http://www.alfonsoamare.it/english/maroz ... The bus departs from the Piazza Tasso in Naples.
The other option is to take the train to Naples circumvesuviana and a train to Rome. If you want to stay in Rome in 3 hours, you can return by train to Naples and Sorrento Circumvesuviana.
